Use of Generated Names

Names generated by LoreNamer are free to use for any personal, commercial, or creative purpose — novels, games, tabletop RPG campaigns, screenplays, merchandise, and more. No attribution is required. Generated names are not copyrightable under most jurisdictions; you may use them without restriction.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LoreNamer to:

• Scrape or bulk-harvest content via automated means without prior written permission
• Reverse-engineer or copy our training corpora or Markov model data
• Attempt to disrupt or degrade the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual Property

The LoreNamer brand, site design, and original written content (lore descriptions, etymological notes, cultural context) are owned by LoreNamer and may not be reproduced without permission. Historical name corpora are derived from public domain sources.

Tolkien's constructed languages (Sindarin, Quenya) are the intellectual property of the Tolkien Estate. Our generator learns phonetic patterns; it does not reproduce copyrighted text. Use generated names at your own discretion in commercial contexts.

Disclaimer of Warranties

LoreNamer is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the historical accuracy of generated names or lore descriptions. Generated names may coincidentally match existing names, brands, or public figures — check before commercial use.
